Traditional Braces

Traditional braces are a reliable way to conquer nearly any type of orthodontic issue. This treatment involves cementing small brackets to the front of your teeth and connecting them via a single wire. The tension created in the wire gradually shifts your teeth and bite into the correct position! Then, at the end of your treatment, the brackets and wires are removed and you’ll be left with a beautifully straightened smile.

Most all patients looking to correct misalignment issues are a good candidate for traditional braces. Braces can fix nearly all cases of crooked, overlapping, and uneven teeth as well as bite issues like overbite, underbite, crossbite, and open bite. We’ll see you periodically throughout your treatment to monitor your progress, provide at-home tips, and adjust your braces as your teeth straighten.

Invisalign

The latest advancement in orthodontic treatment is Invisalign. These clear plastic aligners fit over your teeth like a mouthguard, applying pressure and moving your pearly whites without the need for metal wires or brackets. Plus, the biocompatible plastic is clear, so it becomes nearly invisible when worn! Invisalign utilizes a series of aligners, with each set representing one step on your journey towards a straighter smile.

You’ll need to wear each set of aligners for about 20-22 hours a day to ensure your treatment stays on track. However, you can remove them to eat, brush, floss, and for some special occasions. Invisalign is designed to blend in with your lifestyle for maximum convenience.
